We will start warm-up at 4pm, and the relays will begin at 4:30. They will take about one hour, and then we will be giving out our State Meet Awards. We will have some healthy snacks afterwards. We are in the process of making up the teams, so please let us know as soon as possible if you will be able to swim.

This is an event where we want the kids to get to know each other better, especially from other groups. We really want to give the kids opportunities to feel and act like a team; this can only happen with lots of participation. Please make every effort to be there.

After the Relay Meet we will be having a Time Trial for some of the swimmers. Your swimmer's coach will be contacting you if they would like you to participate. We would love to have everyone stay to cheer on the swimmers to their best times!

The Time Trial will begin by 6pm, and we will be done by 7pm.

There will be no regular practice for any group on Friday. Our Relay Meet is taking the place of all practices.

What we need from parents:
  • Help with timing during the time trials. This is a very simple task, with no prior experience needed. This will be a great time to learn how to push the buttons on the watch--really, that's all there is to it! Please let us know at the meet if you are willing to time.
  • Lots of cheering for all the swimmers.
  • Some cheesesticks, goldfish, pretzels, etc. to share with the swimmers afterwards. Cookies or muffins would also be great. Just bring them when you come--we will be downstairs near the lanes that we usually use for practice.
  • Lots of cheering for all the swimmers.
  • A water bottle or gatorade-type drink for your swimmers. We are not going to provide drinks, so please make sure your swimmer has something to keep them hydrated. Coach Gwynette still has some of the Aquatomics water bottles if you don't have one yet. Please see her to get one before they are all gone.
  • Lots of cheering for all the swimmers.
